Inaugural event at Battery Gardens recognized wide range of Albanian-American contributions
NEW YORK, May 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — The Albanian American Success Stories Gala, held on May 3, was a long overdue evening honoring over a hundred successful Albanian-Americans. Over 750 people gathered at Battery Gardens in Battery Park for the red carpet, star-studded event. The Gala was part of a multi-media project spearheaded by Albanian Media Group, Fadil Berisha Studio, and the American Councils for International Education's Kosovo American Education Fund to recognize the contributions made by Albanian-Americans across industries and the arts.

Honorees at the inaugural event included a Nobel Prize winner, New York officials, an Emmy award-winning reporter, Hollywood celebrities, and entrepreneurs. Others were also recognized for their achievements in areas including leadership, community impact, entrepreneurial spirit, education and politics.
