WVVA HealthCare Alliance Signs 14-Year ASP EHR Agreement

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 3, 2008 — InteGreat, a MED3OOO company that delivers EHR technology to physician groups, IPAs, and multi-specialty clinics, recently entered into a 14-year Application Service Provider (ASP) agreement with WVVA HealthCare Alliance to provide electronic medical record systems for the physicians in the network.

The WVVA Healthcare Alliance is made up of 30 multi-specialty physicians and specialists in the Alleghany Highlands of Virginia and the Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia. Two of the Alliance board members, David Allen, D.O., and James Walker, M.D., have agreed to spearhead the EHR implementation and become the physician champions for the network.

"We have been evaluating and closely monitoring the adoption of EHR by colleagues over the past several years, and have been very cautious with our decision process," said David Allen, D.O., Founding Member and President of WVVA HealthCare Alliance. "Our management and business partner, MED3OOO, has always provided us with the expertise and knowledge to grow our alliance and make the right choices for the organization. After carefully reviewing the EHR systems in the industry and getting to speak one-on-one with physicians using many different offerings, we selected the InteGreat (IC-Chart) EHR system in an ASP model for our alliance. We believe the system will be quickly adopted by the physicians and is one of the most intuitive systems that adapts to a physician's workflow."

"We were elated that the WVVA HealthCare Alliance not only selected the InteGreat EHR system, but also committed to a 14-year ASP Agreement that coincides with the MED3OOO Group Management Agreement," said David Koeller, President of the InteGreat Division of MED3OOO. "It shows the strength and the commitment of our business relationship and reflects our ability to help them grow their organization."

InteGreat's team of EHR implementation specialists will work directly with the alliance to secure full adoption of the ASP EHR system.

"The InteGreat EHR was the first affordable EHR system that wasn't overwhelming to me," commented James Walker, M.D., Vice President of the WVVA HealthCare Alliance. "The workflow process is streamlined, the screens intuitive, and the navigation quick. As a long-time partner with MED3OOO, we know that they and their InteGreat division will be committed to implementing and supporting this product and that is why we decided to go with a 14-year agreement."
