Day one focuses on superior-quality modern furniture, including midcentury designer coffee tables. An Ado Chale malachite coffee table could realize $20,000-$30,000, while a Philip and Kelvin Laverne glass-topped coffee table with three-dimensional "nude" base is estimated at $15,000-$20,000.

A rare Fontana Arte coffee table with a concave, blue mirrored-crystal top is the epitome of Continental sophistication. It could fetch $30,000-$50,000.

Furniture highlights continue with five sculptural-metal designs by Paul Evans, including a "Faceted 300" dining/center hall table, $12,000-$18,000; and "Stalagmite" dining table, $10,000-$15,000.

Other top pieces include: Gio Ponti desk, $20,000-$30,000; Sergio Rodrigues lounge chairs, $10,000-$15,000; Poul Kjaerholm daybed, $12,000-$15,000; and George Nelson "Coconut" lounge chairs with ottoman, $5,000-$7,000.

Distinctive lamps, sconces and sparkling chandeliers are led by one of the largest examples of Bakalowits & Sohne's "Miracle" chandelier, $15,000-$20,000. It would pair nicely with an edgy Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte mirror #1657, $20,000-$30,000.

Designed by one of the titans of Murano – Carlo Scarpa for Venini – a 13-inch green glass "Corroso A Rilievivase" vase could reach $30,000-$40,000.

The glamour of Palm Beach is reflected in 22 lots of designer jewelry and luxury accessories by Givenchy, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Valentino, Balenciaga, Judith Leiber and Chanel. A superb Maison Gripoix for Chanel jeweled bib necklace and earrings suite is estimated at $8,000-$12,000.

Sunday's session is devoted to modern art, rare editions and sculptures. The star entry is a monumental Harry Bertoia two-sided metal sculpture, one of 10 commissioned by and displayed at the First National Bank of Miami. It also was exhibited at Sotheby's 2014 event titled "Bertoia – A Celebration of Sound and Motion." Estimate: $100,000-$120,000.

Coveted Warhol artworks include the catalog cover, a signed, limited-edition silkscreen titled "Campbell's Soup II: Chicken 'N Dumplings Soup." Printed by Salvatore Silkscreen Co., and published by Factory Additions, NY, it is estimated at $25,000-$35,000. A Warhol "Mao" silkscreen is offered with a $30,000-$40,000 estimate.

Warhol was known to create and sign artworks on unusual media for his friends. A Warhol-signed, silkscreened t-shirt depicts the artist's good friend, 1970s GQ model Joe MacDonald. Estimate: $5,000-$7,000.

Four compelling original paintings by Terry Rodgers could be described as "reality art," as each painting is a scene in which people are engaged in mundane activities but unaware they are being watched. Estimate: $12,000-$15,000 (each).

A large and rare three-sheet poster promoting the 1942 classic sci-fi film "The Ghost of Frankenstein" was purchased 27 years ago after being discovered in a barn. Estimate: $6,000-$10,000.

The auction starts at 12 noon on both days. Internet bidding available through www.LiveAuctioneers.com.
