Veteran to Write Names of 2,300+ Fallen Soldiers from Afghanistan War at Chicagoland Speedway from Memory September 12-14

JOLIET, Ill., Sept. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — In what can only be described as unfathomable, Afghanistan War veteran and USA Memory Champion, Ron White, has memorized the 2,300+ fallen U.S. military from the Afghanistan war and travels the country writing out these names which is over 7,000 words (rank, first name, last name) from memory.

He will be writing these names on a 52 foot long black wall resembling the Vietnam Wall that he drives across the USA. This will be the 17th time he has performed this writing from memory. It took 10 months to memorize the names and 11 hours each time he writes out the wall.

He has memorized the names in the order of their death from the first to the most recent. The message behind the wall is simply, 'You are not forgotten' and is an effort to keep these heroes memories alive.

He is seeking corporate sponsorship as now the cost of the wall comes from his pocket and donations. Shirts can be purchased at www.supportthewall.com to assist in funding the travel expenses.
