Tucan Travel Launches New Tours to More Destinations

LONDON, Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Tucan Travel has announced the release of its two brochures for 2013-2014 which are out now and brightening up the shelves of travel agencies worldwide, Tucan Travel Worldwide and Bex.

And in case that wasn't enough, to celebrate the launch of the new brochure, Tucan Travel will be running a competition through Facebook to give away a tour to one of the Seven Wonders of the World! For entry details you can visit the Tucan Travel Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/tucantraveladventures.

Choose from two travel styles!

Tucan Travel have tried to simplify their product as much as possible to make it easier to understand, book and enjoy. They now have two styles to choose from Overland Tours and Adventure Tours.

Their Overland Tours combine the old Overland Expeditions and Discovery Tours and use all of their own private vehicles. There may be times when other vehicles are required like when you are driving across the salt flats at Uyuni in 4WD's or paddling into the Okavango Delta by mokoro but the main legs of the journey will be taken on purpose built expedition vehicles. The Overland Tours cover most of the tours in South America and all of Africa.

Their Adventure Tours combine all the travel styles that use public transport including the old Adventure Tours, Just Go Tours and Expedition Cruises. These Adventure Tours, with a maximum group size of just 16, now offer a single supplement in most of the hotels and have a variety of highlights included.

The Independent Travel Style has been replaced with Tailor-made travel, perfect for independent travellers looking for the private and personal holiday with a difference and Add-ons. These Add-ons can be enjoyed before or after the group tour or as a standalone package. They can be adapted and changed allowing the customers to enjoy a more flexible itinerary.

New tours, more dates, better prices

Tucan Travel have new tours on all of the continents that they operate in with three tours to choose from in Cuba, five in Indonesia and four in Morocco. Their Turkey Trails tour has been revamped and improved and it is possible to travel from Moscow to Istanbul in 42 jam-packed days. Their tours are back in Sri Lanka, where travellers can now explore Burma and Borneo and Tucan Travel have new tours in China, Peru and Southern Africa.

And that is only the tip of the iceberg. Visit their website here to find out exactly what is new and to browse more tours.

The nature of tours means Tucan Travel relies heavily on client feedback to best follow how its tours are running, how suppliers are performing and what things clients would like to see more or less of. Because of the growing popularity of single supplements on their Adventure Tours, and due to an increase in demand, it is now possible to get a single room on most of Tucan Travel's adventure tours. Tucan Travel have also decreased the group size on most of their Adventure Tours to just 16 allowing for a more personal experience.

Tucan Travel CEO Matt Gannan has expressed the company's excitement with the new brochures.

"The last 12 months have seen many changes at Tucan Travel and we are excited to see what the next 12 months will bring. With new tours to new destinations and beautiful new brochures with inspiring images we are confident that the year will be better than ever and we are continually improving and broadening our services."

Squeezing the whole world into one brochure is never simple, but Tucan Travel has divided it into seven easily-identifiable regions, each with a full-page physical map that identifies some of the regional highlights inspiring people to visit. Each tour is accompanied with one of our new-look maps with the tour route marked out and colourful, evocative photos to further whet an appetite for adventure.

Paper copies of the brochure will be sent out on request and can be ordered at https://www.tucantravel.com/contact-us/order-a-brochure and digital brochures are available online at the same address.
