Traveloni first opened up in Chicago in 1963. Lynn Farrell, current President and Owner of Foremost Travel and Tours, initially worked for Foremost Travel in 1980 by delivering airline tickets and moved on to becoming a travel agent for the company. In 1983 she moved on to create her own travel agency; in 1988 her company, H&S Travel Group, Inc., merged with Tom Stelter's agency.
In November 2000 Lynn and Tom bought Foremost Travel and Tours from the original owners after they retired, and began operating the company under the original name of Foremost Travel and Tours.
