TiaLinx, Inc. Announces Receiving a Phase II Award from the Office of Naval Research for mm-Wave Transmitter Design

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 2, 2009 — TiaLinx, Inc., a developer of mm-Wave integrated radio and antenna arrays, today announced that it has received a Phase II award from the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The SBIR Phase II award (contract N00014-09-C-0154) from ONR is to implement high power directional transmitters for Electronically Scanned Arrays (ESA) using TiaLinx's core designs of highly efficient switching mode power amplifier. The transmitter will be part of a highly integrated system-on-wafer implementation that addresses high power transmission of signals for communication and radar applications.
