Tagoras to Release 25th Episode in Only Podcast Series Designed for Leaders in the Business of Lifelong Learning

CARRBORO, N.C., March 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Tagoras, Inc. (http://www.tagoras.com/), announced the release of the 25th episode of the Leading Learning podcast, the only podcast created specifically for leaders and aspiring leaders in the business of lifelong learning.

Since its launch in September 2015, the podcast has become a weekly resource where Tagoras co-founders and lifelong learning market experts Jeff Cobb and Celisa Steele offer perspectives and actionable insights based on their own extensive experience and through interviews with a wide range of leaders and practitioners in the market. Topics covered have included the future of learning, innovation in the market for lifelong learning, effective pricing practices for educational products, the evolving credentialing and certification landscape, and using data to drive growth and impact.

True to its name, the show has featured a series of candid interviews with C-level association leaders, such as Cheryl Ronk, CEO of the Michigan Society of Association Executives, Rick Grimm, CEO of NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement, Tom Reiser of of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), and Jay Donohue, president and CEO of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).

Steele and Cobb have also interviewed a variety of authors and thought leaders, including Seth Kahan, author of Getting Innovation Right, Rohit Bhargava, author of Non-Obvious: How to Think Different, Curate Ideas & Predict the Future, and Peter C. Brown, co-author of Make It Stick: The Science of Successful Learning.

The launch of the podcast was originally inspired by the Leading Learning Symposium, an event Tagoras designed for leaders with strategic and/or financial responsibility for their organization's education businesses.  "We saw the podcast initially as a way to raise awareness about the symposium and provide content that could serve as 'social learning objects' for event attendees," said Cobb.

Tagoras now plans to continue creating episodes indefinitely in an effort to provide yet another resource for its growing community.  "The podcast has evolved – as we had hoped it would – into a way to connect with the Leading Learning community on a weekly basis and provide valuable content that can support leaders in growing their education businesses," said Tagoras managing director Celisa Steele.
