Stradling Attracts Real Estate Deal Maker James Richman, California's 2014 Real Estate Lawyer of the Year

Mr. Richman brings 30 years of experience in a variety of deals to Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.

("Stradling") announced today that real estate attorney, James Richman, joins the Firm as Shareholder and Chair of its Real Estate practice group. Mr. Richman will be practicing out of its Santa Barbara, Santa Monica and Newport Beach offices respectively.

Named The State Bar of California Real Property Law Section's 2014 Lawyer of the Year, Mr. Richman also receives annual designations from Chambers USA, Southern California Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law.  He has also served as the Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Real Property Section and as the Vice Chair of the California State Bar Real Property Section.

Mr. Richman has negotiated a wide variety of real estate deals over an expansive 30 year career. Mr. Richman served as an extern law clerk for Hon. Stanley Mosk, Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court, and was a law clerk for Hon. Harry Pregerson, then Judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is a graduate of the University of California's Boalt Hall School of Law, where he served as an associate editor of the California Law Review.
