Presentations by SS8 LI Experts at Global Industry Conference to Address Lawful Intercept Challenges in FMC Networks, Wi-MAX and Video Telephony, in Addition to the New Challenges of Analyzing IP Content
MILPITAS, Calif., Oct. 1, 2008 — SS8 (SS8 Networks, Inc.) will headline the ISS World Europe Conference in Prague as associate lead sponsors, providing insight on the challenges of lawful interception by delivering three presentations and participating on two conference panels. ISS World Conference and Expo is the world's largest gathering of Telecommunications Service Providers, Law Enforcement Agents, Investigators, Intelligence Analysts, and Justice IT Staff. The conference begins on October 1.
Scott Coleman, SS8's Director of Marketing for LI, will present on lawful interception challenges in the Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) Networks. The presentation will take a close look at the FMC service, and the specific and unique challenges for meeting Lawful Intercept requirements. In his second presentation, Mr. Coleman will discuss lawful intercept challenges for Wi-MAX and video telephony. The session will cover how these technologies are affecting current LI deployments, what new capabilities networks may need to adopt, and the ultimate impact to carriers.
Rounding out the trio of LI presentations is the "Overcoming Traditional Challenges to Analyzing IP Content," delivered by Erik de Bueger, European Director of Sales for SS8. His presentation will probe how law enforcement is challenged to accurately and quickly identify useful and interesting information from the volumes of packets flowing to and from those an ever-increasing subscriber base.
In addition to the presentations, SS8 will participate on the following panels: "Lawful Interception Guru" and "Intelligence Gathering Guru."
