'Sports with Schwartz' Shows Joe Pa the Love

NEW YORK, June 4, 2012 — In an article scheduled for release in the June 2012 edition of Metropolis Nights magazine, sport radio personalities Steven P. Schwartz and Glen Adams show their support for the legacy of Joe Paterno and Penn State Football.

"In the aftermath of the Penn State scandal and the feeding frenzy that took down the strongest pillar and the face of Penn State University, we line up behind Joe Paterno and all that is good and say: 'ENOUGH ALREADY!,'" said Schwartz and Adams. "This is an article that is a must read for anyone interested in a Penn State update. Stop the insanity and step-up for a dose of real life with reason and common sense."

"For 46 years Joe Paterno was the driving force and the face of Penn State University football. Through the muck and mire and cesspool of pretenders that did everything to dump on the reputation of NCAA Division 1 football, Joe Paterno was the white knight that everyone could line-up behind knowing the world was right. So each Saturday when he trotted out his Nittany Lions, we knew Joe was there in his khakis, button-down shirt, rolled-up sleeves and tie, oversized eye glasses and obligatory gym teacher athletic shoes.

"So Joe Paterno was our Champion. He was the father or the uncle we wished was ours. We didn't have to tear him down. Joe Paterno broke no laws. Joe Paterno deserved the benefit of the doubt and the decency that everyone deserved."
