Sport & Health Clubs Adding 14 New U.S. Masters Swimming Programs

WASHINGTON, Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Sport & Health and U.S. Masters Swimming today announced that 14 Sport & Health Washington, D.C. area locations will offer Masters Swimming® programs, providing greater access and opportunity for adults to swim. Each location will offer a coach instructor who has completed level one and level two of the U.S. Masters Swimming Coach Certification Program. Certified coaches will be offering up to six practices a week.

"We've had adult swimming programs at several locations for some time, however it was time to standardize as an official USMS program and launch it across all our clubs.  The success of our Regency program is the basis for our model," says Tamara Yaunches, Corporate Director of Aquatics for Sport & Health. Programs will be held at the Bethesda, Brambleton, Crystal Park, Fredericksburg, Gainesville, Lakeforest, North Frederick, Regency, Rio, Skyline, Tenley, Tysons, Woodbridge, and Worldgate locations.
