Unicorn Children's Foundation Selected Smart for Life(R) as Recipient of Shining Star Award
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 4, 2011 — The trailblazing company Smart for Life®, known for its weight management products, and sister company Better Health Beverage, with its appetite suppressing beverage underWAY, were recently selected to receive the Unicorn Children's Foundation 2011 Shining Star Award. This award recognizes an individual or organization that has brought significant awareness to the issues associated with developmental, communication, and learning disorders.
The ceremony took place at Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida during the Unicorn Children's Foundation 2011 Gala. The event was chaired by Donald Trump and supports the Foundation dedicated to helping raise awareness and research of children with communicating diseases such as ADD. Smart for Life and underWAY's Dr. Sass Moulavi, Renata Moulavi and Richard Kayne received the award in recognition of their support and philanthropic activity.
