SingleHop CEO Attends UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2010

CHICAGO, June 24, 2010 — The United Nations has invited hosting and IT firm SingleHop to participate in this year's UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2010. Every three years, the U.N. Secretary-General convenes this meeting, which brings together a wide industry mix of CEOs and leaders of civil society to "accelerate" the practice of corporate sustainability. SingleHop is part of the UN Global Compact, which is the overarching government body organizing the summit. The UNGC is a business-focused initiative that encourages businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies and consistently report on progress.

SingleHop President and CEO Zak Boca will be attending the Summit and has been requested to participate in several roundtables alongside other business and government leaders. During the Summit, Mr. Boca will present two new initiatives by SingleHop focused on fighting social and environmental issues.

Mr. Boca noted his strong support for the Global Compact and the Leaders Summit, mentioning, "Firms of all sizes are constantly focusing on how to grow and stay profitable without much care for how their activities affect the environment. Also they fail to recognize ways to use their unique expertise for good throughout their stakeholder relationships. SingleHop is proud to be part of the Global Compact as we strongly believe that doing well as a firm, in the long term, is intricately tied to doing good within our sphere of influence."
