SOLANA BEACH, Calif., Feb. 17, 2010 — Sequoia Solar is pleased to announce the hire of three additions to their executive team.
Bryan Pruden has joined Sequoia Solar as their Chief Financial Officer. Bryan brings with him over 16 years finance and business experience with companies that are leaders in their respective industries. Bryan has held leadership roles in Finance, Strategic Planning and Information Technology with companies such as Intel Corporation, SAIC and Darden Restaurants. Bryan holds an MBA from Indiana University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi. Bryan enjoys staying involved in the local community through his leadership roles on several local non-profit boards of directors.
David Boylan has joined Sequoia Solar as their Director of Marketing and Business Development. David brings over 17 years marketing and sales experience including several years in the solar industry working with HelioPower, Stellar Solar, Borrego Solar, Siliken Solar and Mercury Solar Systems. Prior to that David held sales management and marketing positions with Masco Corporation and several of their operating companies. He also founded Artichoke Creative, a successful Encinitas, California-based integrated marketing agency. David is also a food and marketing columnist for the Coast News.
Loren Nancarrow has joined Sequoia Solar in Business Development. Loren has been a multiple Emmy award-winning TV reporter and Weather Forecaster with a passion for the environment and over 20 years experience. Loren will be heading up Sequoia's business development efforts and acting as company spokesperson. The role is a natural fit for Nancarrow, who has stood out for years among TV weather personalities, preferring a more serious activist role and often speaking out on environmental issues of the day such as climate change and how the San Diego region has the ability to be a model of a large urban population coexisting with the natural wealth of the area.
