San Diego Band Jukebox Goes National on the Wedding Scene
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Event entertainment booking service GigMasters.com today revealed its 7th annual 'Rising Star Award' winners for 2013. The award recognizes the nation's top-earning entertainers in over 125 performer and vendor categories. Six event-based award categories recognize the performers who booked the most weddings, children's parties and corporate events in 2014.

Jukebox won two Rising Star Awards: Top Cover Band and Top Wedding Band. The band, which is based in San Diego, Ca., is led by Manager/Drummer John Pisano and includes Vocalist Melanie Gonzalez, DJ Recipe (Wyatt Head), Bassist Mike Valentini, Guitarist Vince Hanvey and Technical Manager Ken Hoelscher.
A long time resident of San Diego, Ca Pisano Served in the U.S. Navy, played in the acclaimed San Diego band Hate Romance in the 90's and started Jukebox in 2007 to provide a unique blend of band and DJ to the Wedding and Corporate events market.

Jukebox has performed at clubs, events, and weddings all over the Western United States and Mexico. They have been featured on multiple episodes of David Tutera's My Fair Wedding, headlined at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and were featured recently on Martha Stewart Weddings. Jukebox also contributes locally to charitable organizations by performing regulary for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Susan G Komen and others.
