Dr. Domingue is one of 22 new American Academy of Implant Dentistry fellows
DENVER, Jan. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Rocky Mountain Dental Institute is proud to announce the induction of our faculty member, Dr. Danny Domingue, as a Fellow by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Domingue is a founding member of the RMDI faculty and has previously been honored as the youngest doctor in the world to achieve Diplomate status from the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, the highest award possible for a general dentist practicing implantology.

Dr. Domingue was one of 22 new AAID Fellows and joins a worldwide group of credentialed experts in Implant Dentistry. To receive his fellowship, Dr. Domingue completed over 400 hours of postdoctoral or continuing education related to implant dentistry and 5 years of experience in the practice of implant dentistry. He showed himself to be experienced in all phases of implant dentistry, including both the surgical placement of dental implants and the replacement of teeth, passed in-depth oral/case examination demonstrating competency in implant dentistry, demonstrated competency in all phases of implant dentistry cases through five standardized cases and in-depth discussion of ten of his own patient cases, including placing dental implants in challenging situations and in patients with jawbone deficiencies, among others. Dr. Domingue also demonstrated professional and leadership credentials through his teaching at Rocky Mountain Dental Institute and is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Acadiana District Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and is the Founder and President of Acadiana Southern Society. Dr. Domingue was also featured in the Winter Issue of the AAID News as a "Rising Star".
