SAN ANTONIO, May 24, 2012 — Post Acute Medical / Warm Springs (the company) is pleased to announce the opening of a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Westover Hills. This is the third rehabilitation hospital the company will operate in the San Antonio area, and the second to open within the past three months.
The 50,000-sq-ft hospital consists of 40 private rooms and boasts the latest in rehabilitation technology. Serving the greater San Antonio market, Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital of Westover Hills will enable people to remain closer to home for their rehabilitative care with easy freeway access to the hospital from all San Antonio areas including downtown and the Hill Country.

The Hospital project was developed by Mohr Health, a Dallas-based Development Company that provides custom-tailored, tenant-based real estate solutions to healthcare companies of all sizes. Built in a hospitality and retreat-oriented setting with an abundance of natural light and open space, Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital of Westover Hills offers a beautiful environment created to foster optimal healing. In addition to inpatient and outpatient rehab programs for Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Major Trauma, Cardiac and Orthopedic, the Westover Hills facility will be home to a new inpatient Pediatric Unit with a dedicated pediatric gym, led by a board-certified Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician, Ellen Leonard, MD. Additionally, specialized services with specially equipped rooms are in place to best serve the bariatric patient.
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House will take place May 31st from 4-7 p.m. The facility will be admitting patients beginning Monday, June 4th.
