Put the Brakes on D.C. – Montana Senate Judiciary Committee Takes up Article V Resolution to Push Back on Federal Government Overreach

MONTANANS: Call your State Senator and Representative to Support SJR 7

PURCELLEVILLE, Va., Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The Convention of States application in Montana, SJ 7, is filed and scheduled to go before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, February 3 at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time at the Capitol Building, Room 303.

Just this week, a large crowd of supporters, who turned out in spite of winter storm Juno, secured two victories in Virginia with passage of the Commonwealth's Article V bill through both the House and Senate Rules Committees.

COS Project expects a close vote in Montana, so your calls, emails and attendance at the committee hearing may make the difference to passing the bill to remind the federal government just who they work for. Emails to your senator are always appreciated: www.leg.mt.gov to find your legislator.
