Author invites children to discover a love for adventure, travel and dogs with this engaging read

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Aug. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Can dogs use their special abilities to overcome obstacles and find their way home? Join the adventure of a group of purebred dogs who seek to learn their true purpose, traveling the world in the process. This educational adventure tale for children uses a dog's perspective to teach history, geography and a love of dogs. Lynne Boyle-Baise's "Where Do I Come From? A Dog Treasure Hunt" introduces children to world travel through the excitement of a treasure hunt. Tap into your children's natural love for and curiosity about dogs, their origins, purpose and special abilities, with this amusing tale of discovery, geography and history.

Young readers will follow a Portuguese Water Dog, named Lipton, and his dog friends as they travel the world. They discover their origins and purposes; use their unique breed talents to overcome problems and challenges; and find their way home, where they realize that their true treasure is love and family.

This book is written for elementary children, particularly in grades one through five, and can be used for read-aloud sessions because of the use of short, repetitive verses. Also, with adult assistance, children can follow the map illustrations to learn about parts of the world.

This book is available online at www.amazon.com.
