"Amity empowers individuals to stop bullets aimed at them, just like in the movies," says Henry Balogun, Founder/CEO of PrimeHangout.com. "What would happen if there was a way to prevent guns pointed at you from firing? What if the firearm was locked by you, the person the gun is pointing at, or the speed of the bullets was reduced to almost zero, resulting in bullets falling off automatically when the trigger is pulled? The fear of sudden loss of life due to direct hit, ricochet or stray bullet could be eliminated. Sounds like science fiction, right? With the help of technology, science fiction is about to become science fact in our lifetime."

The right to bear arms is constitutional. However, the right to life is divine, says Balogun. Effective reduction in gun violence requires the right of individuals to self protect against unpredicted and unsuspected harm that is deeply rooted in anger and possibly hate, or some strange ideological, philosophical, political or religious beliefs that result in the desire to eliminate all opposing views.

"A firearm, in the hand of any person, is power," says Balogun. A firearm pointed at another human being, whether fired intentionally or inadvertently, could result in the end of life or in an unimaginable disability. "Amity is a technology designed to protect everyone. It is not about gun ownership or its politics. This is about making sure you and your loved ones are free from death by firearm."

How is this possible?

  1. If you are in a public place (restaurant, theater, mall, worship center, college campus, etc) and an individual or group of people with loaded firearm(s) walks in, you would receive notification on your mobile or wearable device with regard to the presence of all loaded firearms in your vicinity. Amity is designed to help you take control of the loaded firearms and thereby lock them to prevent loss of life.
  2. Once notified of the approaching loaded firearm, Amity allows you to take control of the firearm against the desire of the person with the loaded firearm, and lock it to prevent tragedy.

"We are currently working on the Amity technology prototype. It is good to know that firearms of law enforcement officers are shielded and cannot be locked by anyone," says Balogun.

To make this available, the project will need public and government support, as well as support from religious and civil right leaders, students, law makers, journalists, etc.

"We are going to need changes in the law to be able to call into existence something that has never been done before," says Balogun. "If you truly believe that life is precious, add your name at www.EnoachTech.com or www.VCap1.com. Let us end the sickening trend of killings. I am willing to meet with any group or organization interested in knowing more about this groundbreaking invention."
