Pharmacy Quality Solutions Announces Kmart® Pharmacy’s Implementation of Their EQuIPP™ Platform to Ensure Best Possible Performance

Kmart Pharmacy Continues to Seek Better Quality For Customers Through Quality Performance Metrics

DURHAM, N.C., May 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Today, Kmart® pharmacies announced that it is implementing Pharmacy Quality Solutions' EQuIPP information-management platform to aid its network of pharmacies to track quality performance metrics and to enhance patient-centered care and clinical outcomes.

Through EQuIPP, Kmart pharmacies will be able to track their performance on numerous quality measures that are important to health plans. This includes triple-weighted quality measures for Medicare Part D plans as well as medication adherence rates included in the new Quality Rating System for health insurance exchanges. Pharmacists can also identify patients with quality-related care gaps to support efforts to optimize the quality of services for their patients.
