Petsitting.com Matches Pet Owners with Professional Pet Care Providers

NEW YORK, Aug. 17, 2010 — Pet owners looking for pet sitters, dog walkers or a variety of other services will now be able to easily find what they need with the launch of Petsitting.com, an innovative website connecting pet owners with professional pet service providers.

The website, which launched last month, allows pet owners to search for pet care providers close to where they live at no cost. This unique service has simplified the process of finding an established, reliable and trustworthy professional to care for dogs, cats and other beloved pets.

"With Petsitting.com, pet owners will no longer have to waste time sifting through the yellow pages, search engines or unreliable referrals," said Jared Katz, Vice President of Sales. "Our company has already done all of the work to find the best in pet care all over the U.S. and Canada."

The website is an acquisition of LocalDogWalker.com, an existing Web company that helps people find a variety of pet care services. With Petsitting.com, the company will be greatly expanding its ability to connect people to services such as dog walking, pet sitting, pet boarding, pet grooming, doggie daycare, pet waste removal, dog training and pet insurance.

To use the service, pet owners simply visit the website and fill out a simple online form. Soon after that, users are contacted via phone or e-mail by a couple of the website's trusted pet care companies, each of which will directly provide pricing, references and all of the other information necessary regarding their services. At that point, users can request more information, evaluate their options and hire a professional service at their sole discretion.

"We know that pets are an important part of any family and that pet owners need to be able to trust the people taking care of their animals," Katz said. "Through a rigorous evaluation process and the highest of standards, we are able to guarantee that the providers we recommend have solid reputations for quality pet care."

To be accepted as an established Petsitting.com provider, pet care service companies go through an application and evaluation process. Once they are accepted, providers receive referrals from potential customers in their respective geographical locations for a small fee.

All of the providers recommended by Petsitting.com must be insured and bonded (where required) to ensure our customers that the companies we partner with are of the highest quality.

"We are offering a one-stop online location for pet owners and quality pet care service providers to meet and do business," Katz said. "As a result, companies are able to reach more clients and pet owners are able to find the best care possible for their pets."

With the newly launched site, Petsitting.com will include more providers and expand its scope throughout the United States and into Canada. It will also feature a new Web design that is user-friendly and easy for visitors to navigate.
