NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2010 — Petsitting.com, a company that connects busy pet owners with professional pet care services, announced today its partnership with Business Insurers of the Carolinas, a leading provider of insurance for pet care providers.
Through the collaboration, Petsitting.com will refer all service providers in need of insurance to the North Carolina-based company. Business Insurers will then assist the provider with the steps necessary to become adequately insured so that they will qualify for membership into the Petsitting.com network of trusted providers.

In order to receive insurance, providers must be members of either Pet Sitters International, the world's largest educational association for professional pet sitters, or the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), a not for profit association. The associations are member-based organizations that help to ensure excellence in the services provided by pet care providers.
