The conference agenda brings together over 40 high level speakers—leaders from the oil and gas industry, academia, and government.  "The agenda is integrated and thorough," says Jeffrey Presberg, Managing Partner at Petroleum Connection.  "With respect to hydraulic fracturing, it will highlight emerging innovations in technology and practice and the important issue of public perception and communication—with an emphasis on connecting perception to what's really going on and continuing to foster a dynamic that is solutions orientated, frank, and creative."

"Questions about oil & natural gas development and hydraulic fracturing are coming from more people and places than ever before," said Larry Holdren, a partner at Pure Brand Communications. "This conference is unique in that it gives communicators the opportunity to network and learn more about the incredible technology that makes the majority of domestic oil & natural gas development possible while, at the same time, exposing the industry's technical experts and innovators—and really all involved—to a fuller picture of the issues and the communications function that is to be more and more important."

The Conference will also feature presentations from respected researchers and academics on important studies such as the recent ones on methane emissions, on water and the environment, and on public perception of hydraulic fracturing.  In addition it will address issues including roads and funding as well as perspectives and concerns from regulators and legislators to communities and county judges.

"The event is a major educational opportunity and I would like to see many industry folks attend," said George Stark, Director of External Affairs for Cabot Oil & Gas.

Speakers include elected officials such as Texas Senator Carlos Uresti, and "legends" like Dr. Claude Cooke, as well as leaders from companies and organizations such as Marathon, Baker Hughes, Cabot, Pioneer Natural Resources, Apache Corp, Anadarko, Statoil, Cummins, Caterpillar, Environmentally Friendly Drilling, Select Energy Services, Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission, STEER, Consumer Energy Alliance, Western Energy Alliance, Texas A&M, Sam Houston State, University of Texas at Austin, and more.
