Park Street Clients Earn 35 Medals at the 69th Annual Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America Convention & Exposition
MIAMI, April 12, 2012 — Park Street Imports, a leading provider of value-added back-office solutions to alcoholic beverage brands, congratulates the competition winners at the 69th Annual Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America Convention & Exposition held last week in Las Vegas. Over 2,100 wholesalers, importers, and other wine and spirits industry professionals participated in this year's convention, and nearly 1,000 brands competed in the Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition, hosted in partnership with The Tasting Panel Magazine. Competition entrants ranged from established brands and brand extensions to emerging brands in both existing and new categories.
Park Street's clients posted an impressive performance, including four Best of Show Awards. A special congratulations goes out to Enrique Iglesias and Atlantico Rum for their Best of Show, Brown Spirit Award. Other Park Street client awards include Best of Show Awards for Best Rum – Atlantico Private Cask Rum, Best Cachaca – Moleca Gold Cachaca, and Best Tequila – Revolucion Silver Tequila; two of the three awards in the Call for Cocktails Mixology Competition, both from Tanteo Tequila: Tanteo Cocoa (The Chesterfield) and Tanteo Tropical (Cortez The Killer); and 35 combined total medals.
