The county with the highest number of people participating in the Eco City Challenge and highest amount of CO2 reduction by taking alternative transportation instead of driving using the My Open Road App during Earth Month will win the Eco City Challenge itself. The individual with the highest amount of CO2 reduction within that winning county, will win the grand prize of $2,000 to be announced on May 27th. In each participating city, everyone is welcome to join the kick off on Earth Day and join the movement; walkers, bikers, skateboarders, and all. Weekly giveaways will include random drawings from the top 100 users, and will be announced on April 9th for one sector 9 skateboard winner, May 6th for one Pure Fix Bravo bike winner, May 13th for one sector 9 skateboard winner, and May 20th for a one Pure Fix Bravo winner.
My Open Road will participate in various earth fair events and open up booths on select college campuses in each participating city periodically throughout the challenge.
