NEW YORK, Aug. 20, 2012 — Newco Energy Acquisition Holdings LLC (NEAH Energy), an energy-related asset and services acquisition firm, announced the appointment of Jim Lister to its Advisory Board. Mr. Lister is currently working in the New Ventures Unit in Encana Oil & Gas (USA), where he is evaluating new business opportunities in horizontal oil and gas shale plays across the US.
Mr. Lister has over 30 years domestic and international experience in the Petroleum Energy business, as a Senior Geologist, as a Manager in major corporations and as President of an independent energy service company. Mr. Lister's extensive expertise is in exploration, development of producing properties, horizontal drilling, business development, acquisitions and divestitures.
Mr. Lister has worked for such corporations as Texaco, Union Pacific, Anschutz Exploration and Encana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc. His clients while President of Stonebrooke Resources, Inc. included Amoco (BP), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Colorado Oil and Gas Commission, various County Governments and the Jicarilla Apache Indian Tribe.
Mr. Lister also has extensive environmental expertise having worked SECOR International, providing geological expertise in Underground Storage Tanks, hydrocarbon mitigation and groundwater mapping and monitoring.
Mr. Lister holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Policy and Management and also holds a Master's Degree in Geology. Mr. Lister is a multi-state registered Professional Geologist, a Certified Petroleum Geologist and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
