National Leader on Autism Joins Rethink Leadership Team

Dr. Patricia Wright will serve as Vice President of Professional Services

NEW YORK, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Rethink, an education technology company that puts cutting-edge tools to support students with special needs in the hands of educators and parents, announced that Dr. Patricia Wright, former national director of autism services at Easter Seals, will join the organization as Vice President of Professional Services this week.

Dr. Wright will lead Rethink's Professional Services Group, which works with school district leaders and educators to fully utilize the program to measure and improve student outcomes.

Previously, Dr. Wright led the autism programs for Easter Seals, one of the nation's largest providers of services for individuals with autism, and worked with affiliates around the country to design and enhance autism services.  Dr. Wright has served on Rethink's Scientific Advisory Board and the executive committee for the Friends of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities.

Dr. Wright joins Rethink as the company expands partnerships with school districts around the country to support their inclusive education efforts through professional and parent facing tools, as well as engaging student activities.  Rethink launched its Student Activity Center, a new student interface that provides computer-based activities aligned with Rethink's curriculum, reporting, and progress monitoring tools.
