NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2007 — In a progressive move to create more services for students, MyRegistry.com in a partnership with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) announced today the launch of an online gift registry and gift guide for VCU's 32,000 students. The website, VCU Gotta Have It (URL http://www.gotvcu.com), will give college students the opportunity to get the items they need for their everyday life on campus, or use it as their holiday wish list or for any other gift-giving occasion. As part of the agreement, a portion of the revenue from items purchased from students' wish lists will go into a special fund to help support student programs at VCU.

Students are able to add items to their "VCU Gotta Have It" personal wish list from any store in the world including items for their dorm room, concert tickets or even gift certificates to local restaurants. GotVCU.com also has a unique, patent-pending function for family and friends to easily send cash to the students through a Cash Gift Fund service that all students with a US bank account are able to participate in.
