New application allows Facebook members to display their MyRegistry.com gift lists
FORT LEE, N.J., April 28, 2008 — MyRegistry.com, the leader in online gift registry technology, announced today the official release of its new Facebook application, My Gift Registry, which allows users to showcase their MyRegistry.com gift lists on their Facebook profiles.
The My Gift Registry application brings the power of MyRegistry.com to Facebook members by allowing them to add gift registry items from any store in the world to one organized gift list. These items, which can range from traditional registry items to exotic vacation packages, are all displayed on the Facebook profile page as an attractive scrolling gift list. Profile visitors are then able to view and purchase these items by simply clicking on any of the scrolling images.

As part of the application set-up, users must link their MyRegistry.com gift lists to their Facebook accounts. Members who do not yet have a MyRegistry.com account will have the opportunity to sign up for one, and have it automatically linked to the My Gift Registry application.
