Multimedia Continuing Education Provider Oakstone Publishing Welcomes New Vice President, Marketing

Formerly of B.A.S.S. Marketing, Amy Skiff will focus on awareness and demand for Oakstone's medical multimedia and wellness resources

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Oakstone Publishing, one of the foremost providers of multimedia continuing education for healthcare professionals as well as effective and award-winning wellness resources, today announced the appointment of Amy Skiff as Vice President, Marketing. In this role, Skiff will be responsible for all aspects of strategic development and execution of marketing plans for Oakstone's Medical and Wellness divisions, including product positioning, brand awareness, new product development, integrated marketing communications, and market penetration. Skiff will report to Diane Munson, Oakstone's President and CEO.

Skiff is an accomplished and versatile executive with more than 20 years of strategic planning, marketing, and event development experience. Prior to joining Oakstone, Skiff served as Vice President, Marketing at B.A.S.S., LLC and as Sr. Director, B.A.S.S. Marketing at ESPN. During her tenure with B.A.S.S., she was responsible for marketing the company's television, magazine, digital and event media platforms. Earlier in her career, she held various strategic marketing positions with CITGO Petroleum, where she was responsible for brand development, marketing communications and advertising, and business strategies. Skiff holds a BA in Economics from Indiana University.
