The IACP Annual Conference and Exposition is the largest and most important law enforcement event of the year, where more than 14,000 public safety professionals come to learn new techniques, advance their knowledge and careers and equip their department for ongoing success. The 2015 Convention will be held October 24-27 in Chicago, Illinois. MT2 will have representatives available on-site to meet with Law Enforcement officers and gun range operators to discuss Best Management Practices (BMPs) for Lead at Indoor and Outdoor Shooting Ranges. The 1st 25 people each day to the MT2 booth will receive a free premium cell phone charger.

"We are proud to serve and protect those in law enforcement and the military that serve and protect us," stated James Barthel, MT2 CEO. "We are passionate about Gun Range lead cleanup, restoring our environment and protecting people from the hazards of lead. Everyone knows that high velocity lead can be deadly, but the hidden danger of lead at firing ranges comes from the dust generated by shooting activities. There are Best Management Practices for managing lead at firing ranges that both indoor and outdoor ranges can implement in order to protect Law Enforcement officers, shooters, workers and the local community from lead hazards" stated Barthel.

In an eye-opening interview segment "Dirty Shooting Ranges Poison Police", The Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX, with The Seattle Times, talk about the dangers police face from lead contamination at gun ranges.
