Moving the Mobile Conversation Up the Food Chain

Mobile Development Leader Taps Marketing Veteran to Lead Strategic Services

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 14, 2011 — MEDL Mobile, a leader in the development, marketing and monetization of mobile applications, has tapped Ted Francisco to lead its rapidly growing Branded Development division.

As VP, Director of Strategy and Branded Development, Francisco brings more than two decades of agency and brand building experience to the company – which has developed custom mobile applications for brands such as Monster.com, Kaiser Permanente, Medtronic and Teleflora.

"Over the past 18 to 24 months, mobile has moved from being a tactical 'bolt on' for many brands to a centerpiece of their communications strategy," said Francisco. "I'm thrilled to join MEDL and work with our clients to see what's really possible using this amazing new tool set."

Francisco has worked at powerhouse creative shops like TBWA Chiat/Day, Young & Rubicam and most recently Campbell-Ewald developing brand strategy and communications for world renowned brands such as Ghirardelli, Lincoln Mercury, Chicken of the Sea and Hilton Garden Inn.

"We've noticed that in the last two years, the mobile conversation has moved higher and higher up the marketing food chain," said Dave Swartz, Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer. "Our clients today are senior-level strategic thinkers who want big thinking and vision. We are thrilled to have Ted at the table helping us dream this stuff up."
