Captain Atlantis is originally from the fishing port of Juan Griego in the Caribbean island of Margarita, where tourists would visit to see its castle and famous sunsets. He came to the U.S. 25 years ago, but has since traveled the world. "Murata Tek" began as a musical in his home country, including 14 original songs composed by Captain Atlantis, and then was published years later. He is now a tour guide and author and enjoys traveling, water sports, cooking and playing the ukulele and piano in his free time. Captain Atlantis plans to keep writing and traveling in the future.
