MindStream Analytics Introduces Enhancement to Oracle’s Hyperion Drill-through Capability

BOSTON, Dec. 15, 2010 — MindStream Analytics, a leading solutions provider for Enterprise Performance Management, announced today it has developed a solution to enable its clients to drill-through from Oracle Hyperion Applications via Financial Data Quality Management (FDQM) into any source systems without the existing ERPI limitations. "Our custom Source Adapter for Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Drill-into-Anything (DIA), enhances and extends the functionality of Oracle's ERP Integrator," explains Matthias Heilos, Senior Consultant for MindStream Analytics and the solution's architect.

The integrated approach of Oracle's Hyperion EPM applications significantly improves and expedites the research and analysis of data issues. When using Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management to feed data into Financial Management, Planning or Essbase, a Financial Analyst can follow the audit trail via Hyperlinks, which drill down further and further into the source data. This will enable analysts, for example, to access details like accounts payable transaction level information from the source systems with only a couple clicks. Even PDF documents (e.g., invoices) can be attached to the transactions. MindStream's DIA enhancement lifts existing limitations of a few specific data sources, and enables Oracle Hyperion users to, quite literally, drill into anything.
