NEW YORK, Aug. 17, 2010 — MidCap Advisors is pleased to announce that Bill Reading will open MidCap Advisors' new Charlotte, North Carolina office.

"This is a very exciting time for us to be growing as a firm, especially given the struggles our economy has been weathering, and we are very pleased that Bill has joined the MidCap Team," said John Poppe, Partner and Co-Founder of MidCap Advisors. "Bill's extensive business management and operating experience, combined with his experience working with private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, makes him a valuable addition to our firm."

Prior to joining MidCap Advisors, Mr. Reading spent ten years as a management consultant working with mid-sized textile, home furnishings, and manufacturing companies throughout the Southeastern United States. Bill's experience includes leading recapitalizations, restructurings, plant closures, business development and sales diversifications strategies.
