In an effort to assist New Yorkers recover from Hurricane Sandy, MetroStar Home Health, a privately-owned home medical equipment company available at , will be accepting canned goods, nonperishable items, household items, and monetary donations during the week of November 1-8.
As thousands of families in the tri-state area remain without homes, power, and transportation, MetroStar is committed to assisting all New Yorkers in their recovery and rebuilding effort.

We need to do something, so we've decided to immediately organize a relief effort to collect donations from gracious and fortunate New Yorkers less affected by the storm. With so many families displaced due to severe flooding and power loss, MetroStar will be hosting a seven-day relief drive. "At this point anything that you feel can assist another family can be donated," said Newman. The MetroStar team is currently stationed at their Brooklyn showroom, ready to accept donations now through November 8.
