LOS ANGELES, March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Mercedes-Benz of Encino announced today that it will be one of the major sponsors of this year's Sizdeh Bedar Festival at Lake Balboa in the San Fernando Valley.

The daylong March 31 event opens at 10 a.m. and features live music for all ages, food and face-painting booths, and a hookah cafe.
Sizdeh Bedar is a Persian celebration of the outdoors that dates back to ancient Iran. It is a traditional time for family fun, games, music and kebobs on the grill. And according to the festival organizer TimeTV, a Los Angeles based Persian entertainment company, more than 20,000 visitors are expected this year from the valley and from the Westside communities of Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Westwood.
