Madison Rose Gets a Double Shot of Whisky

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17, 2012 — She's only 18, but Madison Rose (http://www.madisonroserocks.com) will soon be standing on a stage that has been a fixture on the L.A. rock scene since 1964. Madison Rose, alongside her brother and lead guitarist, Justyn – The Stuntman, is set to play two Friday night shows at the Whisky A Go Go on the notorious Sunset Strip on February 3, 2012, at 8:15 p.m. and February 10, 2012, at 10:30 p.m.

Madison Rose caught the attention of Music Connection Magazine, whose December 2011 issue named Rose one of the Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands. And they're not the only ones sitting up and listening to Madison Rose: She is the new face of Samson Wireless Microphones in the company's upcoming nationwide ad campaign; she is a featured performer at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) 2012 Show January 19-22, 2012, in Anaheim, California; and "Teenage Runaway" was nominated for Best Pop Song of the Year by the 2011 Hollywood Music and Media Awards (HMMAs).

On Rose's upcoming debut album, Aftershock, she displays a musical maturity well beyond her years. In addition to "Teenage Runaway," the first single off the Aftershock album, which has gained her a loyal following on YouTube, she shines on "Joanna," a complex ballad that meshes Rose's lyrics with a soulful melody written by her brother and musical partner, Justyn – The Stuntman. And Rose lets her inner wild child come out to play on Aftershock's rollicking tracks, "Over You," "Bad Boy" and "Kissin' in Your Cadillac."

Madison Rose may have appeared out of nowhere, but one thing is certain: She's here to stay. After a recent photo shoot for her upcoming album with legendary rock photographer Neil Zlozower, Zloz had this to say about Madison, "Madison Rose was truly 'magical' in front of my cameras! A real professional, I predict she will be HUGE talent in the 21st century!"

Those who can't wait until Rose's February Whisky A Go Go appearances can get a feel for her style at the artist's YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/MadisonRoseRocks.

"My true goal is to inspire people with my music," said Madison. "Music is art. If my music makes people happy, exhilarated, excited, reflective, melancholy, empowered, or makes them feel an emotional connection to the song, then as a songwriter I have reached the pinnacle of success. Yet for all that, it's onstage where I feel most at home and really come alive."
