BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Jan. 19, 2012 — On Tuesday, Jan. 17th Crystal Forms Barbados announced the winner of a competition they started from the month of Dec. 2011 and ran early into Jan. 2012. The competition was aimed at giving back to their fan base.
The role of the competition was to guess the most popular jewelry item they had on their website. Anyone could enter and it was worldwide with the help of a jewelry blog.
The lucky contestant who won was a North American woman from Alabama. One of the in-house artists contacted her to congratulate her and to confirm the shipping address for the prize.
Crystal Forms designers create handcrafted borosilicate crystal pieces from scratch (same material used on NASA spacecraft windows), with emphasis based mostly on light refraction, but all pieces are considered to be art with functionality.
