Life Safety Enterprises (LSE), founded in 1995, works with clients to create a safe environment in each facility that we enter. We believe that preparation can make a difference between life and death. LSE is dedicated to providing top-rated safety education programs along superior support services. We work to assist clients in exceeding code, standard, and accreditation requirements.

LSE's two divisions can help clients "Close the Compliance Loop." Inspection Services provides assistance with meeting the inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements of NFPA and other codes. We help clients with Joint Commission and CMS standards compliance. Our services include inspections of fire extinguishers, egress lighting, smoke/fire doors, dampers, and barrier walls. The Inspection Division helps prepare and manage a facility's Statement of Conditions and works to develop long term solutions for PFI issues. The Education and Training Division focuses on providing sessions for employees on topics such as emergency preparedness, fire extinguisher training, and fire or disaster exercises. We also focus on OSHA standards including bloodborne pathogens and personal protective equipment. LSE can help clients meet the Joint Commission EOC and SOC requirements. We offer NFPA Life Safety Code Fundamentals and related seminars to meet client needs.

"I believe that people tend to forget that codes and standards are minimum requirements. It is our mission to exceed these requirements to meet our client's moral obligation to provide a safe and secure place for patients, visitors and employees," says Angela Timperio, LSE President.

Based on the requests of many healthcare safety and facility managers, LSE has developed education programs to help prepare candidates for the CHSP and the Fire Safety Manager (FSM) Exam. Many organizations in the U.S. now require these certifications of their safety/fire management staff. "LSE is proud to be involved in the FSM certification program. We believe this involvement provides LSE the opportunity to update and educate people across the United States on these very important requirements.

"Codes, standards and inspections are constantly evolving. It is our job to make sure that our clients are ahead of these changes before they happen."
