Weinberger is a licensed lawyer and technology leader who previously served in senior executive roles for a top UK law firm, two large Am Law firms, and the largest municipal law office in the U.S. He joins Prosperoware from Phoenix Business Solutions, a global software and consultancy business focused on professional services, where he served as Chief Strategy Officer. Weinberger previously practiced law in Chicago and now divides his time primarily between the U.S. and the UK.

"Ben is well-regarded in the industry for his expertise on emerging technologies and transformational trends in professional services. He will be a great addition to our team, especially as we roll out our new Umbria platform," said Keith Lipman, President and co-founder of Prosperoware. "Professional services firms are constantly looking for ways to optimize the efficiency of their practices and to maximize business value. We're committed to delivering software that helps them achieve their goals. Ben's experience as a lawyer and operational leader in large, international law firms and his knowledge of the UK and APAC markets brings further expertise to our team."

Taking Umbria to market will be Weinberger's initial focus. Umbria Pricing, Budgeting, Business Intelligence & Analytics addresses the need for partners in legal and professional services firms to price, budget and monitor matters for cost-conscious clients while maintaining profitability.

"Umbria is a very exciting product," said Weinberger. "It addresses a pent-up demand in the professional services industry—and more particularly legal—where clients today are extraordinarily focused on securing greater value from their firms. Umbria increases client value with metrics-driven fee predictability and greater visibility into the economics of engagements. Umbria helps drive better decision-making on staffing resources that can deliver an appropriate profit margin."
