JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 6, 2010 — The Latitude 30 Global Grid, which began beta testing in June, is expanding its "grid"-enabled offerings. The enhanced "grid" or social community provides unparalleled ways to share content but in a much more secure and private way, unlike other social communities. According to the May 26, 2010 Pew Internet Study "Reputation Management and Social Media," 66% of social networking users have changed their privacy settings. In addition, 28% of users age 18-29 stated that they can "never" trust networking sites like Facebook™, Twitter™ and LinkedIn™ with their content. The "grid" technology is expressly designed to ensure that no member's content is ever shared in the public domain. The Latitude 30 Global Grid will interact with its customers' Macs/PCs, smartphones (iPhone™ and Android™), iPads™/tablets, digital cameras, or any electronic device that has wireless functionality. Just as Latitude 30 provides guests with one location and endless possibilities, the Latitude 30 Global Grid Social Media Xperience™ provides guests with endless possibilities in the virtual world.
The Latitude 30 wireless grid is essentially a highly secure personal "Facebook™" world, providing enhanced capabilities to Facebook™, Flickr™, Twitter™, YouTube™ and music-sharing services, all in one location. We Jay™ is a proprietary music-based application that allows users to discover new music, create playlists, text-based messaging, and create music channels as if they are the DJ. Once a person joins the Wireless Matrix he or she will have specialized access to Latitude 30's multiple dining and entertainment venues, such as VIP access to live events, preferred seating in the restaurant and special pricing on food, drinks, bowling, and the dinner cinema. They will also have the ability to interact with others that are part of the matrix and watch LIVE video feeds from fixed cameras within Latitude 30 as well as Axis LIVE™.
"Just as Latitude 30 is breaking the glass ceiling on entertainment venues, the Global Grid is redefining the social community stage, putting control and most importantly privacy back in the hands of its users. We know our future customers are super tech-savvy and we will continue to introduce cutting-edge technologies that will enhance their Latitude 30 experience both while they are here and in their everyday lives," stated Brent Brown, Managing Partner of Latitude 30.
The iPhone™, iPad™ and Android™ Latitude Global Grid applications will be available on Apple's App Store and the Android App Market very soon. For more information on how you can join the Latitude Global Grid, please send your request to Email .
