LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary May 29 – June 2, 2013, With Performances from All Six Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists

Rock to the Music of the Tribute Artists who appeared on CBS's "Late Night with David Letterman"

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — For the 10th year in a row, Lake George, "the Queen of American Lakes," will be the site of one of fans' favorite Elvis Festivals. Sherry Management, the festival's producer, expects this to be the biggest and best LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival ever as fans of the King of Rock-n-Roll® will be treated to performances from all six of Elvis Presley Enterprises' Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champions. Five of them appeared on CBS's "Late Night with David Letterman" in January 2013, in celebration of the 78th birthday of "The Greatest Entertainer of All Time."

During a two-night extravaganza, Elvis Rocks Lake George, Part 1 and Part 2, fans will learn why these six Tribute Artists have been honored with the highest award an Elvis performer can receive. Tickets are available now at http://www.LakeGeorgeElvisFest.com or by calling 888-406-5885.

On Friday, May 31, everyone will gather at the Lake George Forum to party to the sights and sounds of Justin Shandor, the 2010 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, performing music from early in Elvis' career. Following Justin, Brandon Bennett, the 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, who stars in the Chicago cast of the hit musical "The Million Dollar Quartet" and who also starred in the hit Canadian show "The Elvis Story," will perform music from Elvis' '68 comeback special. Then Bill Cherry, 2009 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, will hit the stage to bring down the house, recreating the stunning performances of the King's Vegas years, as he has been doing since 1989.

Elvis fans can never get enough of the King's music, so the Lake George Forum will welcome them back Saturday evening, June 1, for a second night of Elvis Rocks Lake George. This night's festivities begin with Cody Slaughter, 2011 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist and the youngest person ever to be named an "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist." Cody is currently in the touring company of "The Million Dollar Quartet." The reigning Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, 2012's winner, Ben Portsmouth, follows, showing why he was the best of the best last year. Ben is the current star of the European "Tribute to Elvis" tour and is making appearances in North America, South America and throughout Europe in 2013. Fans will have one more opportunity to celebrate the life and legend of the King when 2007 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, Shawn Klush, energizes the room. BBC Television has also honored Shawn as the "World's Greatest Elvis."

"To say we've outdone ourselves at the 10th Annual LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival would be an understatement," said Jason Sherry, president of Sherry Management, LLC, and festival director. "Considering how far one would have to travel and the expense involved to see all six of these Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for longtime Elvis fans and those visiting one of our festivals for the first time."

As with all official Elvis Festivals, the two big nights of performances by the six Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists are just part of the five days of activities. Throughout the extended weekend, fans can also attend the multiple rounds of this year's Elvis Tribute Artist Competition. Participants will compete in five divisions and six categories for cash and other prizes, and the LakeGeorge.com Festival Grand Champion will win a spot in the final competition in Memphis during Elvis Week in August.

"Once again, we are so appreciative of the local support for our LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival and the sponsorship of LakeGeorge.com, WCKM, the Adirondack Journal, Denton Publications and the Spotlight Newspapers of our Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition," added Sherry.

The LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival, May 29–June 2, 2013, also includes a long list of other events. The Opening Night Ceremony will be held in Shepard Park Wednesday evening, May 29, followed by the Opening Night Party at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery. Thursday night, May 30, is another big stage show, the Tribute to Rock and Roll History, where fans' favorite Elvis Tribute Artists and other talented performers will portray the King and other rock 'n' roll legends, such as Elton John, Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Roy Orbison and Connie Francis.

There are also Elvis After Hours Parties on May 31 and June 1 and three opportunities to party with Elvis Tribute Artists onboard the Minne-Ha-Ha, setting sail on Lake George, June 1.
