Series Debuts with San Francisco Kick-Off on Feb. 16th

BURBANK, Calif., Feb. 9, 2012 — "Keeping You Ahead of Technology" and making the most of live production is the theme for a new series of seminars produced by workflow solutions specialists, Burbank-based Key Code Media. The first event will be held at the Delancey Street Screening Room in San Francisco on Thursday, February 16th. Check in and cocktails will be at 6:00 pm; the panel discussion will begin at 6:30 pm.

"Keeping You Ahead of Technology – Techniques and Tips" is targeted toward any market segment utilizing live content – whether education, religious worship, corporate communications, broadcast facility, sporting events and other live productions. The panel discussion will cover the basics of producing live events, what it takes to extend the reach of your message and content, and how to increase the return on investment through a remote audience – including generating revenue through advertising. The panel will address both novice and advanced production skills.

This event will allow the audience to experience a live produced event, recorded, streamed and powered by NewTek's TriCaster (http://www.newtek.com) portable production device. Audience interaction is highly encouraged and questions for the panel can be queued immediately by utilizing Twitter #KCMSFLIVE2012.

"Live content has some of the highest levels of audience engagement, especially compared to traditional media," says Key Code Media President Mike Cavanagh. "We've seen dramatic results utilizing live content for both our clients and our own business."

Panelists for the San Francisco event include Jamie Morganstern, director of operations for Bamm.tv; Tony Welch, creative service director of Beyond Pix Studios; Lenny Ferreira, co-founder of FullView Media; and Victoria Crimmins, conference manager of NVIDIA. The panel will be moderated by industry veteran Michael Kammes, senior technology and workflow consultant for Key Code Media.
