IRVINE, Calif., May 4, 2012 — K1 Speed Austin – the first K1 Speed indoor karting center in the great state of Texas – is now open! With the launch of its Austin location, K1 Speed is introducing the thrills of all-electric indoor karting to a whole new group of enthusiasts. First-time racers to K1 Speed Austin can race anytime without a reservation, thanks to the popular Arrive & Drive program. Consisting of a 14-lap race against the clock, it demands consistency and skill for best results, and allows participants to measure their performance against a database of more than 1.5 million K1 Speed competitors.
K1 Speed Austin also offers reservations for special events, birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and team-building exercises. The facility has on-site meeting rooms featuring the entire amenities one would expect, including state-of-the-art audio/visual systems, projection screens, DVD players, televisions, and Wi-Fi Internet access. If you are looking to feed your group, there is a range of catering options that can also be selected from. For the ultimate experience, K1 Speed recommends that a race package be combined with a room rental and catering.
