Mr. Berezowsky will present on "Outdoor Small Cell Deployments: What Backhaul Providers Need To Know" from 11:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. at the event, to be held on Wednesday, October 29 at The Westin Times Square at 270 West 43rd Street in Manhattan.

Mr. Berezowsky, recently named one of the Business Council of Westchester's "40 Under 40 Rising Stars," is an active participant in various industry organizations. He holds leadership positions in two state wireless associations, including his role as Vice President of the Executive Committee of the Board and Chair of the Events Committee for The New York State Wireless Association (NYSWA), and Board Member and Co-Chair of the Regulatory Committee for The Pennsylvania Wireless Association (PWA).

"Advancements in small cell technology to meet the rising demand for data bandwidth in urban and suburban locations are driving growth in this sector," said Mr. Berezowsky. "As this technology evolves and requires smaller and smaller footprints, building and property owners are being presented with more and more opportunities to capitalize on unused or underutilized space as telecom companies seek to keep up with demand. These smaller footprints additionally result in a substantially lower impact to the environment thus resulting in quicker regulatory approvals."

Backhaul providers, like other players in the mobile network ecosystem, are gearing up for this imminent small cell opportunity. Equipment vendors too are lining up a variety of fixed and wireless access solutions to deliver the last mile – or the last fifty yards in this case. The compelling theoretical logic of deploying outdoor small cells is nevertheless snarled up in the practical complexity of zoning rights, federal and state regulatory and environmental compliance issues, and other mundane operational constraints, often having little or nothing to do with telecom technology.

Representing IVI International, one of America's leading integrated construction and environmental consulting firms, Mr. Berezowsky will depict the regulatory drivers and barriers to outdoor small cell deployment and what backhaul providers can realistically expect over the next three years. Mr. Berezowsky will additionally provide insight into the FCC's new streamlined rules pertaining to Broadband deployment which were recently approved on October 17th, 2014.
