ISPE Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter to Host 22nd Annual Life Sciences Technology Conference

RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter (CaSA) of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) will host more than 1,000 life science professionals of major pharmaceutical companies at the 22nd Annual ISPE-CaSA Life Sciences Technology Conference, on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on the top floor of the Raleigh Convention Center, 500 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC.

"The conference provides an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to learn about the latest manufacturing techniques through product demonstrations and informational sessions," said ISPE CaSA Chapter President Heather Denny.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend educational seminars presented by industry Subject-Matter-Experts from across the pharmaceutical industry including representatives from Biogen Idec, Novartis, bioMerieux, Baxter, GlaxoSmithKline, Hospira and select ISPE-CaSA members.

The event is open to the public. Attendee and exhibitor registration is now open. The Early Bird registration (ISPE Members $45; non-members $60) ends February 13 and includes complimentary food, parking and beverages throughout the day. ISPE offers student discounts (student members free; non-member students $20).

The closing date for exhibitor registration is February 13. Space is limited.

Proceeds from this year's conference will also support the MeFine Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides essential resources and financial assistance to parents and caregivers with children being treated at Duke and UNC Children's Hospitals.
