INVISION and FreeWheel Announce Integration to Extend Cross-Platform Planning of Television and Online Video Ad Sales

Integration of INVISION's DealMaker Software and FreeWheel's Monetization Rights Management(R) Technology Will Enable Customers to Plan and Manage Ad Sales Across Both Television and Online Video

NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2010 — INVISION, Inc., the leading provider of advertising planning and sales solutions to the media industry, and FreeWheel, the video monetization technology company, today announced plans to integrate their products to enable customers to plan and manage their advertising sales across television and online video.

With the integration, media companies using both INVISION's DealMaker sales planning solution and FreeWheel's flagship product, MRM, will be able to seamlessly plan and manage their television and online video advertising campaigns. Specifically, joint customers will be able to create, execute, and track a single campaign across linear television, online sites, and portable devices, and will be able to access reporting and cross-channel metrics through one system. In addition, the companies plan to integrate the digital sales planning solution under development by INVISION with FreeWheel's MRM to enable joint customers to more effectively plan and manage their online display and video advertising sales.

"As the industry moves rapidly towards media convergence, media companies have had to manage their inventory across multiple platforms using multiple disparate systems. Our first-of-its-kind integration with FreeWheel will enable INVISION and FreeWheel customers to sell their inventory across both television and online video in one connected system," said Lynda Clarizio, CEO of INVISION, Inc. "By seamlessly integrating INVISION's DealMaker with FreeWheel's MRM, we are making the ad management process easier, more cost-effective, and less redundant for our customers."

"FreeWheel was founded on the principle that video is video, whether you're watching on a broadcast schedule or on-demand; whether it's on a television, a PC, or a portable device," said Jonathan Heller, co-founder and co-CEO of FreeWheel. "The challenge has been that this kind of cross-channel viewing, especially at scale, creates significant logistical problems for the world's leading media companies. Our work with INVISION goes beyond making cross-channel campaigns possible and focuses on making the campaigns profitable, which we believe will accelerate the new video economy more than any other factor."

Offered on both an enterprise and hosted basis, INVISION's software-based solutions manage the sale of more than $13 billion in annual television advertising inventory, helping media outlets increase the revenue yield on available advertising inventory. INVISION has established valuable and trusted relationships with a wide array of customers representing over 45 media outlets such as Comcast, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Television, and Univision.
